Beautiful place but not much is open.
Free camping next to historic log cabin. Some people had voiced that there was a charge to use the showers and that a citizen was trying to charge for camping at the FREE PUBLIC park. Don't let this guy scam you out of $5. We didn't encounter him, yet the katy trail forums mention him plenty.
Great stop on the Katy, but not much open early on a Sunday
This is a great place to get on the Katy Trail. There is shade to park your car under and several small shops nearby should you need refreshments.
